Following the launch of our Trauma Informed Organisational Toolkit, the Safeguarding Board for Northern Ireland Trauma Informed Practice team would like to welcome organisations to our implementation workshops, where you will be guided to reflect and identify areas for development and receive additional resources to support you on your journey. These workshops will be interactive and there will be the opportunity to connect and learn with others on the journey. It is preferable you attend the workshop in the area you work in, to enhance networking opportunities.
Participants will be guided to reflect and identify areas for development and receive
additional resources to support them on their journey.
Target audience:
- Those who have completed trauma informed training (a minimum requirement of Level 1 & 2 or equivalent)
- Those in a leadership, policy development, or commissioning role
- Those who wish to support trauma informed development in their organisation
For engagement purposes, we will be working on a first come first served basis for those who fulfil the target audience criteria.
This toolkit will help organisations in Northern Ireland (NI) on their journey to implement a trauma informed approach across policy and practice. Based on local and international evidence, it offers valuable insights from those with lived experience and from examples of good practice across NI.
